Name: Marie-sensei

1st Appearance: Volume 12, Book 3

Name origin: The word "marie" is the Japanese approximation of the name Marie. The word "sensei" means "teacher, master, or doctor." In the case of manga-ka, the term is used to mean teacher.

Short Overview:
Marie-sensei is the manga-ka, or comic artist of Aurora Wedding which Minako reads. The story she writes is similar (on purpose) to the Bishoujo Senshi Seeraamuun manga. Her story has been running non stop since she was in 8th grade and it has reached up to volume 108. She is a big fan of Kaitou Ace, but her reason for liking him is because he looks similar of her editor, Baishaku Shinrou, who she is in love with. In the end, she gets married to Baishaku.

Quotes:
"Her boss, Baishaku-san! Oh, that's right! I thought I'd seen him somewhere before. He looks like Linda's sweetheart, Swallowtail Kamen, too! Huh, Marie-sensei??"

"This is great! Being able to read manga every day, and live in this huge house, and having a cute boss come to your house every day... Being a manga artist sure is a dream job!"

Marie's glasses fall to the floor: "That's Marie-sensei!? That liar! She looks just like the Linda in her manga! She's so pretty!"
