
Name: Saitou-san

Name origin: For his name, the first kanji means "purification" and the second kanji means "wistaria." The term "-san" is a formal honorific for a name, similar to "mr. or miss or mrs."
Short Overview:
Once a student of Shiba Junior High School, Saitou-san is the leader of a high school gang and the biggest tough in Tokyo. When he went to Shiba Junior High, he had home economics by Okamoto-sensei (Okappii as he calls her) for three years. When Minako gets harassed by a gang, Saitou-san comes to her rescue and after a second rescue, he tells his if they ever bother her around Aoyama he'll get them for it. Saitou-san wears a promise ring around his ankle and it turned out that he secretly loved Okamoto-sensei, but never told her. His gang friends told Minako that if he got into one more fight, he wouldn't be able to graduate. When a fight broke out with the opposing gang, Minako disguised herself as Okamoto-sensei and tried to get him to stop fighting. Unknowing it was Minako in disguise, he confessed his feelings and kissed her deeply.
