Name: Sorano, Hikaru

Name origin: The first kanji used in her surname, "sora" means "sky" and the second kanji means "field." The word "hikaru" can be translated as "to shine, to glitter, to be bright." However both her surname and given name are real Japanese names and the translations are not to be taken litterally.

Short Overview:
She is a refreshing, sweet girl and assistant leader of a volunteer club. She always drinks oolong tea and resists sweets. Hikaru and Minako have been best friends since elementary school. Hikaru doesn't seem to know Sailor V's real identity but she likes her very much. She is the Vice President of a volunteer organization. She is very similar in looks to Mizuno Ami from the Bishoujo Senshi Seeraamuun manga.
