(i am talking in regards to the manga series produced before sailor moon.) Mina sat sadly on her bed thinking to herself, "I miss Adonis so much. I understand now that we were meant to be, for he is my one true love." Artemis came in with one thought "Man, I'm hungry....c'mon just 10 more stairs until Mina's room." He finally makes it to her room and is about to yell out "Where's my breakfast!" His mouth drops wide open when he finds her with crystal tears streaming down her face. "Oh...." Mina sees Artemis and quickly wipes the tears away. "Cuddle bunny, I"m so sorry you must be really hungry. You just hang on one minute and I will get your breakfast." She sits up and tries to cover the stray tears. Artemis leaps onto her bed and sits on her lap. "Mina you don"t have to hide your feelings from me." "Tell me why you were crying." "It"s nothing really, I was just thinking about my last battle....why did it end like that?" "Mina, you did what you thought was right. ." Mina begins to cry. Artemis thinks, "Okay, now is the time to protect and comfort her, she"s your scout." "Mina, I know you miss Adonis very much....but you are the Sailor Suited Soldier of Love and Justice, you must keep your guard up Mina, you must also know that I am...." Mina picks her head up to look into his eyes. "I am so proud of you, you have matured and remembered who you are. I wouldn't trade you for anyone in the world." Artemis gets a small red tint on his cheeks. Mina scoops the fluffy white cat up in her arms and coos to him. "Oh cuddle bunny....do you really mean that?" "My sweet cuddly kitten." "Mina must you treat me like a baby?," asks Artemis as he cuddles closer to her. "Of course." "Or would you prefer I get another cat and call it cuddle bunny, give it tuna, let it sleep under the covers...." Artemis picks up his head and leans backwards. "Are you serious?" "Would you really get a....another cat?" "Well, if you don't want to be called cuddle bunny, and have me treat you like a sweet and adorable cat....then what's stopping me?," she replies in an inquiring voice. "No way!" "What are you doing?" "You just can't fly off the handle at the thought of having to share her" "I just think that being Sailor V you should concentrate on watching out for the Dark Agency." Mina holds Artemis close to her and strokes his soft fur. "Oh cuddles, I would never replace you, you're my cute kitty." "Mina, I'm your guardian, not your house cat.," whines Artemis. "Beep!" "Beep!" Mina grabs her pen. "What's up boss?" "Mina, I fear that the Dark Agency has re assembled." "Is that possible?" "I mean after Mina defeated Lin Lin and Ace....." "I mean Adonis.," interrupts Artemis. "There have been reports of mysterious cases occuring around nearby locations." "Well boss, if it is them, I will defeat them like last time." "This time I will be ready for everything they send at me.," states Mina. "Mina are you sure you're ready?," asks Artemis. "I have to be." "I am the soldier of love and justice." "Good." "The first place I want you to check out is in he Crossroads District." "Roger....we're on it!" Mina grabs her compact off the windowsill and her pen; as she closes her bedroom door and runs down the stairs. "Mother, I"m going out." "I won't be late.," yells Mina. "Alright dear.," replies Mrs. Aino. Meanwhile...... "Where am I?" "Sailor V.....no....Mina Aino." "The ring, the kiss, the fight, the love fortune...." "You're awake.," laughs an evil voice. "Who are you?" "Where am I?" "Don't worry, we're on the same team." "I want to destroy Sailor V, she defeated the Dark Agency once...but with me by your side we will win, and evil will prevail.," chuckles the woman. She is wearing a blood red kamoto, she has purple hair and blue lips. "We were defeated?" "It's all so hazy to me." "I remember Sailor V....my, can it be that she did feel the same way as me?" "I must find out." In Crossroads...... "Looks pretty peaceful here." "Still we should be on our guard." "Wait!" "Look Arte, why are so many people in line to get into that shop?" "It might be the Dark Agency." "This sounds like something they might do." Suddenly...... "Mina!" "Mina!" Mina turns around to see..... "Oh goodie, look who it is Arte, Natsuna." "Don't get me wrong, she is the reason why I am on the police force...but does she have to call me everyday other day?" Natsuna comes running up to Mina and Artemis. "Oh what are you doing here?," she asks catching her breath. "Just patrolling...nothing much.," laughs Mina nervously. (one of Mina's past mistakes: don't transform in front of fans.) thinks Artemis to himself. (a little sweatdrop forms on his head.) "I'm just on my lunch break....if you find anything call for back up, don't hesitate.," whispers Natsuna. "I won't, don't worry." "You didn't take Wakagi out to lunch?," asks Mina suspiciously. "What?" "Wakagi...um...why would I take him to lunch?," asks Natsuna with a reddish tint on her cheeks. "C'mon, my love life might be cursed.....*literally*....but I am the Goddess of Love and I know when two people should be together.," informs Mina. "Um....I really have to go." "Bye.," stutters Natsuna. She starts walking over towards the local cafe. "Good job Mina." "Now we can go and find out if the Dark Agency is really back.," whispers Artemis. Mina runs over to the shop and starts to ask around. "Does anyone know why this shop is so popular?" A girl with long blond hair done up in two buns turns around. Mina thinks to herself, "They look like meatballs....yummy...." "I'm so hungry...." "This shop has these way cool gem stones." "They will give you total good luck." "Sounds a little fishy to me.," thinks Mina. Mina and Artemis waited in line for around 20 minutes..... 'Finally." 'Now what to look for?" "Well, duh..... weirdo at the counter, lifeless people, and energy sucking gems." Meanwhile..... "Our first follower is ready and is set up in the Crossroads District.," states the woman, a smile across her face. "What about Sailor V?" "She defeated us once, if she catches wind of this...." "Then we will just have to kill her." "I will let you do it because you seem to remember her quite well.," laughs the woman evilly. "What?" "Me, kill Sailor V?" @ the shop........ Mina picks Artemis up and put him on her left shoulder. "Mina, be on your guard." A woman with red hair, green eyes....and really bad breath walks up to Mina and Artemis. "May I help you vith anything?," she asks with a lisp. "Oooh, bad vipes from her." "No thanks, just looking....hehe." "Very vell ven.," she replies eyeing her carefully. "That was close.," states Mina. "She gave off really bad vibes." "There"s nothing we can do with all these people here.," informs Artemis. "We'll come back to night when it"s closed." The two leave the shop and head towards the local arcade. "Um Mina?" "Yes?" "I never got my breakfast!," yells Artemis. "Oh yeah....hehe...but I thought you could stand to lose a couple pounds." *sweatdrop* "Mina, I am not fat!" "I'm just a little big boned.," informs Artemis in an *FYI* voice. "Fine." "To the hotdog stand." Once there Mina sees her bestfriend Hikaru sitting on a nearby bench enjoying an icecream. She grabs a hotdog with mustard and a plain one for Artemis. "Hi Hikaru." "Can we join you?" "Sure Mina." "It's good to see you, you must've been really busy this summer." "I haven't seen a lot of you lately.," states Hikaru. "I hope that you can forgive me." "I have been so busy you know how it is chasing after idols, stuff around the house and volunteer work at the police station.," explains Mina humbly. "I understand, I"ve been doing volunteer work at the hospital." Mina gets wrapped up in a conversation and unconciously drops Artemis' hotdog on the dirty ground. "G thanks...." "I really love dirt on my hotdog.," thinks Artemis as he jumps down off the bench. "Hikaru, lets go see a movie, my treat.," states Mina. "Alright, they made a movie off of 'Aurora Mornin' the book series you like so much.," informs Hikaru. "Oh that is so cool!" "Lets book it over to the theater right now." They start to run when Mina turns around quickly and scoops up Artemis. "Wait!" "My hotdog.," cries Artemis quietly. Once at the theater. "Mina, I don't think that they allow cats in the theater.," states Hikaru. "Guess you"re right." "Hmmmm...." "Hey, let me borrow your back pack, he can go in there." "Why me?," asks Artemis as he is lifted into the small back pack. Meanwhile..... "Latishia, have you collected energy from these puny humans?" "Yes my master." "Diandris, I will have much energy collected by the end of the day." "Stupid humans, they don't understand why they're so weak....but their energy will revive the Dark Agency." "Good, do not fail me." "Latishia, you hold much promise...." "Thank you." "And Latishia?" "Yes master?" "If you see that wretched Sailor V, I suppose you know what to do." "Yes, I will destroy her for you and our new general." "Are they talking about me?" "New general?" "Destroy Sailor V...." After the movie both girls came out with glassy eyes and rosy red cheeks. "Oh Hikaru, isn"t Swallowtail Kamen *mask* so dreamy?," asks Mina with a faraway look. "He sure is, but what about Kaitou Ace?" "You never did tell me how the trip went...and what happened to him?" "Its like he"s gone from the face of the Earth." "Man, she doesn't know the half of it." "One, I killed him, so sorry." "Two, because I killed him, do you think they would release the movie?" "No, of course not!" "And three, it totally ruined my chance to be an idol." "No, I don't know what happened to him." "What a lie!" "Filming with him was so cool and he game me this ring because he lov....." "What am I doing?!" "because he likes me and said that we were friends." "Phew, what a save." "Sheesh Mina, why not tell her that you killed him.," thinks Artemis still inside of the backpack. "Hello in here, it's kind of hard to breath." "Oh that's so cool, I wish that I had been able to be there." "You didn't miss too much." "Oh man, it's 5:30!" "I'm going to be late for dinner.," informs Hikaru. Hikaru gives Mina a hug and takes off running. "Well that was interesting Arte." Mina looks down to find....NO ARTEMIS!!! "Oh no!" "Hikaru come back you have my cat in your backpack!," yells Mina as she takes off after her. Eight O'clock that night @ the shop.... "I don't see anything yet.," states Mina with a little yawn escaping from her mouth. The street lights come on, shining light into the shop. Mina and Artemis look closer to find people laying on the floor, too tired to move. "Ready Mina?," asks Artemis. "Right!" Mina grabs her compact from her pocket and holds it up to the ski. "Moon Power Transform!" After a few words are spoken, in a bright yellow light, appears, "Code Name: Sailor V." "Diandris, I have collected a good amount of energy from these humans.," states Latiesha. "Good, with their energy we will be one step closer to taking over this planet.," informs Diandris. "Yes my queen, this planet will belong to the Dark Agency.," laughs Latiesha. "This planet will never belong to the Dark Agency!," states a voice. "Who's there?," asks Latiesha to the girl in the shadows. She steps forward. "I am Code Name: Sailor V, the soldier of justice, the sailor suited beautiful soldier of love and justice, Sailor Venus." "So you...this little girl, you're the one who is responsible for ruining the Dark Agency's plans? I will destroy you myself!," yells Latiesha angrily. "I will not let you hurt anymore people." Sailor Venus holds up her compact and faces the mirror at Latiesha. The mirror reveils a blue skinned witch. "I know where you're from and who you are, it is I who will destroy you." "Crescent beam!" A jolt of light comes out of the compact and hits Latiesha in the side. "You will pay for that!" She reveals her true form and throws a fire ball at Sailor Venus. "V! Look out!," yells Artemis. She dodges the fire ball and comes with her "Venus Boomer Rang!" The witch dodges it. "Is that your best shot?," she asks evilly, a smile curled on her ice cold lips. "No? This is!," yells Sailor V. The Venus boomer rang comes flying back and hits the witch hard in the head. Sailor Venus takes ahold of her boomer rang and holds her compact up once more. "Venus Meteor Shower of love." Several large meteors fly straight for the witch, she screams as they hit her and when the light vanishes all that is left is a pile of dirt. Mina quickly detransforms and goes to check on the lifeless customers. "It looks like they're going to be alright, just tired." "Mina, you did a great job defeating that witch.," states Boss from her pen. "But be ready, for they will be back. Artemis you must help her and train her once again, I think that it is fair to say that Code Name: Sailor V is back." Meanwhile... "No! I lost half of the energy that Latiesha collected!," yells Diandris angrily. "That child Sailor V...she will pay dearly. Latiesha was my best warrior. Step forward Andros, you will take her place and continue our work." "Yes my queen." Andros steps out of the shadows. He has blonde shoulder length hair and wears a black uniform. "I will collect the energy needed to weaken Sailor V and to take over this stupid planet." "Good, then go...and Andros?" "Yes, Queen Diandris?" "Do not fail me or you will wish that you had never been born, understand?" "Of course, I will not fail you." He steps into the shadows once more and disappears. "Sailor V, she defeated Latiesha? By herself??? She must've improved a great deal from last I saw her. Perhaps when the time is right, I will pay her a visit.," ponders the man as he retires to his chambers. @-> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Early the next morning, Mina was out of the house and to the arcade before it opened. Mina quietly went in the back. She proceeded to the Sailor V Video Game and typed in the password. The floor then sunk and Mina was transformed into Sailor V like she always is when she enters headquarters. "Good morning, Boss." "Good morning V and Artemis.," replies Boss. "Now about the Dark Agency, with one of their warriors gone...it is safe to say that they will be sending someone new to target you V. You and Artemis must be prepared and ready." "Yes Boss. I will have Mina ready for the Dark Agency's new plans.," informs Artemis. "The slightest distraction could give the Dark Agency just enough lead to take control of Japan.," states Boss seriously. "I will stay focused this time Boss, since my last battle occured last spring, I am ready to put my work before everything else.," replies Mina. "She is almost ready Boss, she must learn to stay focused, but her fighting skills are perfect.," informs Artemis. Mina and Artemis leave headquarters and come upstairs to the arcade to find Andrew opening it up. "Yikes! Gotta book it, Arte.," whispers Mina as she picks him up and runs out the back. "Hey, do you think that I could fit in a quick game and have some breakfast? You know, since it's open." "Alright Mina, but after breakfast we do some research on our new opponents.," replies Artemis. Mina walks around the building and in the arcade front enterance. "Good morning Andrew.," she states humbly. "Hey Mina, you're up early.," replies Andrew as he turns around quite surprised. "Well, I was kind of hoping that I could get some breakfast.," informs Mina. "Sure thing, just let me set up and I'll take your order." Andrew goes behind the counter to turn everything on and get set up. Mina sits on one of the stools at the bar and waits. "Okay, what would you like?" "Um...," thinks Mina quietly. "How about some tea, eggs over easy, and a slice of toast, please?" "Sure thing." "Oh and Andrew?," interrupts Mina. "Yes?" "May I please have some strawberry jam for my toast?" "Of course." Mina was done after a half an hour so she decided if she wanted to do some real research to go to Natsuna, she would let her do anything she needed to do, after all she was V-chan. "8:05 AM.," Mina read aloud. She then proceeded into the police station.... "WAKAGI!" "Yes superintendant general???" "Where's my coffee?????" "Well....love is definately in the air this morning...," thought Mina with a big sweatdrop. "Mina, do we have to be here, right now?," whispered Artemis. Suddenly Natsuna's head popped out of her office doorway. "Waka----..." She stopped and blinked a couple of times. "Mina, you're here...what do you need?! Police back up?! F.B.I?!" "No, nothing like that.," Mina replied sweatdropping, and wishing that Natsuna would keep her voice down. "I was just wondering if I may use some of your supplies for a case I'm working on." "Yeah, sure, me helping Sailor V on a case.," whispered Natsuna getting that fan girl gleam in her eyes. Just then Wakagi came running down the hall with a hot cup of coffee. "Here super intendant general!" "Thank you.," she replied in a sweet voice. Mina smiled sweetly at the two, then Natsuna noticed everyone staring at Wakagi and herself. "Now get back to work officer, or I will have you sent to work on the Alaskan cases!," she yelled and signaled for Mina to follow her. Once in her office.... "Natsuna, you have to tell him how you feel.," states Mina. "What?! You don't HONESTLY think that I am seriously interested in Wakagi, do you?," asks Natsuna suspiciously. "Well...it is kind of obvious how you two feel towards one another." "Um...er....well...YOU have work to do V-chan, and I will now leave you to do what it is you must do...but if you get some free time, I was wondering." Mina arched an eyebrow. "Well, would you help the police department with a couple of cases?" "Of course...when I get a chance that is." "Okay, thank you V-chan." Natsuna leaves and closes the door behind her. "Okay Mina, let's get down to business.," informs Artemis as he jumps down from her shoulder. "Right Cuddle Bunny...but I don't understand how anything here can actually help us." "Well, the police should have records of all the weird occurences that have been happening lately in Tokyo." "You're so good at this Arte..." Mina starts to look around the office and decides to lock the door first. "We don't need any uninvited guests joining us." "Good thinking, Mina." @->~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Artemis goes through the files on the computer. *A natural hacker =^.^=* While Mina goes through the updated section stored in the cabinet inside the closet. "Alright, I finally found something.," sighs Artemis. "Thank God! WE've been here for almost two hours." "Stop complaining, Mina. Now look at this map that I found." He points to the computer with one of his paws. "You see the pin-pointed areas? A jewelry shop, candy shop, and a psychic's house...." "Yes, they're all in the Crossroads District.," notices Mina. "Correct. So the Dark Agency is the only thing that can be creating all of these occurences.," states Artemis proudly. "Print out the map of Crossroads and the case files. Then we can trace them to when they first started, etc." "Good thinking, Mina. You're really doing well being the Sailor suited soldier of justice." "Thank you...now let's get the files and get out of here before someone notices that the door is locked and that this place is a total mess." When the two come out of the office they are amazed to find no one is there. "Where is everyone, Arte?" "I don't know...but I don't like it..." Mina and Artemis search the entire building. Mina finally spots a print out of a call. "Please send police force to Crossroads District Bank. There has been a break in and the robbers have hostages.," Mina reads aloud. She checked the time the call was received, 2:00 PM, then checked her watch to find it was 2:20 PM. "Artemis, I have to go, they might need me." "Right. Quickly transform!" "Moon Power Transform!," she yells holding her compact. Code Name Wa Sailor V soon stands there and she and Artemis take off running... Author Notes: Sorry it took me so long to update.
